Morocco, land of light…multi-faced, soft, kind, subdued, sometimes merging into the Nothern landscapes; but also intense, blazing, burning even in the sands of the South. Its climate comprises an orchestra which plays unique, luminous symphonies. This light comes as a shock striking the eye… This is what happens to painters, photographers and film-makers.

It is in this spirit that in 1983 Mr Mohamed BELGHMI who is the owner of the first private hotel chain (10 hotels) Salam Hotels, decided to build the first studios in Morocco. Since then, several stages and construction sets have been added in order to meet the increasing demand of productions. Located at the entrance of Ouarzazate, on an exceptional site with an area of 150 hectares and a backlot of 500 hectares, the studios offer an outstanding view of the Atlas mountains.
